There comes a time in every wedding photographer’s career where you meet clients and instantly you click. Erica & Steve are those kind of people and we got along from the very beginning. Their wedding was something that I’ve been looking forward to since about October last year when they booked me. Maboneng is a trendy and creative new development in the middle of Johannesburg CBD. There are funky restaurants, art galleries & fantastic coffee specialists. All of these are surrounded by really colourful graffiti creating the perfect spot for an urban adventure.
The Living Room is a stunning rooftop venue filled with an enormous variety of plants, giving this city space a very green and tropical feel. The view is simply spectacular and honestly, to be in such an eclectic & inspiring place makes my heart happy and my creative soul burst with ideas.
Erica & Steve stayed at The 12 Decades Art Hotel and we were lucky enough to get access to their rooftop for some breathtaking sunset city skyline portraits.
I don’t have enough words to describe this bride’s impeccable taste. It was the perfect mix of elegance and authentic urban style. A feast to photograph, a joy to be a part of, a true urban adventure.
Erica & Steve are kind hearted, fun and down right awesome. This is the kind of stuff adventure stories are made of.
