I met up with Tinashe & Victoria in Maboneng and took them on a tour around my city. I showed them some of the awesome street art in the area and we went up all the way to Jeppe to have some giggles in front of the iconic arrow art work of AboveStudio.
We ended our afternoon on the 50th floor of the Carlton Centre. Known as the Top of Africa, this special lookout point gives a beautiful panoramic view of Johannesburg. If ever you want to visit this highly underrated site, make sure you follow these easy steps:
• Park in the underground parking of 150 Commissioner Street
• Go up two flights of stairs, because the lift is broken, to the Mall section
• Ask some friendly people to direct you to The Top of Africa.
• Pay R15 and take the lift to go up 50 floors
